For the last 14 years, choir teacher Lisa Hanson has played an integral role in making Lakewood High School's music program one of the best in the region.

In January, the Ohio Music Educato's Association (OMEA) selected six of her students to perform with the All-State Honors Choir in Cincinnati. 

That's not an easy feat, but for Hanson it's business as usual as handfuls of her students make the state cut each year.

She has almost 35 years of experience, has earned her masters and doctorette in music education and currently sits on the OMEA board of trustees.
