Signs of Chicken Wings on Detroit Avenue
Workers put the finishing touch on the Quaker Steak and Lube restaurant at the Lakewood Plaza on Friday. Construction of the new restaurant is wrapping on Detroit Avenue — just in time for the Aug. 15 opening.

I drove by yesterday, missed the signage going up...plaza looking much better, NOW can we get some focus on the EASTERN side of Lakewood? Sick of caged open lots with NO Sign of progress...glad for Helvetica and the new restaurant going in the old Maria's let's ditch the tacky Raena's sleeze shop and put SOMETHING positive on the old Fairchild lot, build the new Drug Mart....

I love this city and with our son being blind i know when he gets older, that lakewood will be home for my little guy. It would be nice if the old theater was still around on hillard and olive. Someone should renovate the building and turn it into like a capital theater. I would be nice to have some where to go.

What about some press for eddie & eddie opening too? They are locally owned and hiring as well. I am not affiliated in any way with either place.
