This week, the city put out a request for proposals for a feasibility study to determine whether a hotel could thrive in our fair city.
Some of the discussions at Lakewood City Hall have focused on capitalizing on some of the development in downtown Cleveland — think casino and Medical Mart — as well as the development along Detroit Avenue in Lakewood.
There’s already a Days Inn on Clifton Boulevard, but city officials are also considering the possibility of attracting a “boutique hotel” to the city.
