Police Catch Up With Counterfeit Suspect

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

Counterfeit suspect caught

Police finally caught up with the woman who escaped arrest for passing a counterfeit $50 bill at the CVS Pharmacy on Clifton Boulevard in April. She came through the drive-thru again at around 11:30 p.m. May 1 and an employee recognized her.

Scary noises

A resident in the 1600 block of Phelps Avenue told police that a neighbor was making scary noises at around 7 p.m. May 1. The woman called back and said the neighbors making noise left. 

Dog bite

A dog bit a woman as she was walking in the 1300 block of Edanola Avenue at around 6 a.m. May 2. The pedestrian asked the woman walking the dog to stop, but the woman threatened to have her dog bite her again.

Bag of white powder found

A resident in the 1500 block of Winchester Avenue found a baggie of white powder in the front yard at around 3:30 p.m. May 2. Officers impounded the bag, but the report didn’t indicate what the baggie contained.
