Police Blotter: Breaking and Entering, Weapons Charges and Two Lost Dogs

This week in police news.

 

A woman told police that, at around 3 a.m. May 9, someone tried breaking into her Bunts Road home by shattering an upstairs front door window. Officers caught up to the suspect a short time later. He was charged with providing false information and disorderly conduct.

A man was cited for disorderly conduct at around 12:30 a.m. May 9 after he caused a disturbance in the Moon’s Food Store on Detroit Avenue. He was told he'd be arrested for trespassing if he returned to the store.

One man was arrested and charged with dangerous drugs, and another man was charged with permitting an unlicensed driver operate a vehicle following a traffic stop at 10 p.m. May 9 in the 1300 block of Clarence Avenue. The vehicle was released to the owner.

A man was charged with unlawful sale of weapons, drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension at the Burger King on Madison Avenue at 10:30 p.m. May 9.

Two female husky mix dogs were reported lost May 9 by the dogs’ owner in the 1200 block of Summit Avenue.
