That means there is twice as much space — about 2,000 square feet — for merchandise.

Among the new items are baby slings, new books, maternity clothing (on the way) and new toys.

Lots of 'em.

"I have a lot of new stuff, but not all of it's out yet," said co-owner Tamara Racin.

Also, a new play area will be unveiled just in time for the store’s grand opening on Saturday.

“People have been calling and calling asking when we are going to reopen,” Racin added. “We have some wonderful, faithful followers.”

She said that she'd hoped to reopen sooner, but there were some unexpected delays.

The store moved from its Warren Road location in 2011 to the space at 14417 Detroit Ave. — a spot that offering plenty of visibility on the bustling commercial corridor.

Paisley Monkey offers designer brands for infants, toddlers and apparel, accessories and games for children up to 10 years old. There's also stuff for adults, too, including socks, bags and scarves.
