Some of the discussions at Lakewood City Hall have focused on capitalizing on some of the development in downtown Cleveland — think casino and Medical Mart — as well as the development along Detroit Avenue in Lakewood.

I think a Bed and Breakfast would be a better fit for downtown Lakewood. -Catrina J McLelland
If they do it they must do it right. Make it a boutique hotel. This doesn't mean super expensive, it just means it is unique and incredibly stylish. Somewhere that even Lakewoodians would like to stay for a "staycation.” - Brandon Scullion
Lakewood is looking into attracting a Hotel to the city? Umm we have one. It's on Edgewater Dr. Maybe the Mayor and Council members don't get out much? Why would the spend 7grand on something that we already have? If they are looking to add more rooms for availability, Why would anyone suggest a B&B? -Sonny Yereb
