Men Robbed at Knifepoint

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

Robbery

A man told police that he and his friend were robbed in an apartment on W. 117th Street at around 7:30 p.m. Nov. 7. The man told police that two men punched them “multiple times” and held a knife to his friend’s throat before getting away with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police are investigating.

Dog on the loose

A dog — a German Shepard mix — was on the loose in the 1400 block of Elbur Avenue at around 1:30 p.m. Nov. 7. The dog was reportedly “chasing dogs and trying to attack” a woman.

Safe stolen

A man in the 1200 block of Warren Road told police that someone broke out the window of the side door and stole the safe from his office at around 2:30 p.m. Nov. 8.

Dangerous drugs

A man was charged with drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop near Detroit Avenue and W. 117th Street at around 11:55 p.m. A woman was also charged with drug paraphernalia.

Burglary

A man was arrested and charged with burglary after he was found in an apartment in the Ennis Court Assisted Living facility on Detroit Avenue at around 12:30 p.m. Nov. 6.
