Man Who ‘Dined and Dashed’ at Restaurant Caught

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

Dine and dash

An ex-employee at Quaker Steak and Lube walked out on his $50 bill at the restaurant at around 5 p.m. Nov. 11. His mother, who was also at the business, said she will contact him to pay his bill to avoid criminal charges.

Criminal mischief

The alley near Revelations Hair Salon was reported spray-painted at around 7:45 a.m. Nov. 10. 

Assault

A man was arrested and charged with assault and disorderly conduct after hitting a woman on Franklin Boulevard at around 12:10 a.m. Nov. 11.

Grand theft

A vehicle was reported stolen from the 16600 block of Fischer Road at around 10 a.m. Nov. 11. 

Disturbance

A man walking north on Newman Avenue — yelling as he strolled — was charged with disorderly conduct at around 4 a.m. Nov. 13.
