Man Threatens Tow Truck Driver Over Burger

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

There's the beef

Lakewood police responded to the on W. 117th Street in Cleveland for a report of a tow truck driver who was threatened by a man who said he would shoot the driver if he didn’t buy him a burger at around 1:40 a.m. May 3. Police caught up with the man on Detroit Avenue and turned him over to the Cleveland Police Department.

Car spray-painted

A woman reported that her parked car was spray-painted in the 14500 block of Detroit Avenue at around 6:20 p.m. May 3. The woman told Lakewood Patch that she doesn’t have any enemies and didn’t know who would want to vandalize her property. Nearby video surveillance didn’t turn up any clues.

Window shot out by BB gun

A resident in the 2100 block of Chesterland Avenue reported May 4 that a window of the home had been shot out by a BB gun. The resident didn’t want to make a report.

Burglary

A resident in the 12900 block of Harlon Avenue reported several items missing from the house at around 9 p.m. May 4.

Drunken driving

A man was charged with drunken driving after he struck a guardrail on Hogsback Lane at around 3 a.m. May 5.
