Lots of Entertainment Today at Beck Center
Full slate of programs for those aged 3 to 93
is hosting staged delights for the eyes and ears today, with drums that bang and bop and dances of graceful spins and twirls.

PNC Musical Rainbow Concert “Percussion Partners”

Percussionist Mell Csicsila will share with children ages 3-6 the special nature of rhythmic instruments and teach them about the variety of musical sounds of an orchestra in a program entitled “Percussion Partners,” today on the Mackey Main Stage.
The event is the second of two special west side in partnership with the Cleveland Orchestra and the Beck Center.

Children will have a chance to tinker and play with the instruments during the program. The presentation begins at 10:30 a.m. and is scheduled to last 30 minutes. Tickets are $5 per person at beckcenter.org or you can call 216-521-2540, ext. 10.
Sleeping Beauty
The Beck Center’s program is presenting an encore production of a condensed version of Tchaikovsky’s classic ballet at 4 p.m. today. All remaining shows are sold out, according the Beck Center’s website.
The dance is specially choreographed for children. It includes a cast of 65 students including 12 male dancers, two of whom appear courtesy of the Cleveland School of the Arts. Julia Horner, 17, is scheduled to dance Princess Aurora. Taylor Gerrasch, 17, will perform Carabosse, and Abby Schneider, 16, will dance as the Lilac Fairy.
Tickets for Sleeping Beauty are $10 for children and students (18 and under) and $12 for adults and seniors. They are on sale at beckcenter.org or you can call 216-521-2540, ext. 10.
Super Saturdays @ Beck
Beck Center is offering a free hands-on arts experience called for children 10 and under today with the center’s community partner, Westfield Great Northern Mall. The program runs from 9-11:30 a.m.
