Three members of Lakewood’s Heritage Advisory Board were recognized Saturday for decades of service to the city.

Marcia Moll, Rick Sicha and Heather Rudge were named this year’s recipients of LakewoodAlive’s Laskey Service Award, which was presented to them at a special ceremony at the Lakewood Public Library during Saturday's Streetwalk.

The trio is being recognized for years of volunteer service for a number of Lakewood institutions and organizations — including LakewoodAlive’s Main Street downtown revitalization program.

According to a press release, the LakewoodAlive Laskey Service Award was first created in 2009 to honor Tim Laskey, a founding member of LakewoodAlive and Lakewood Community Progress Inc., to reflect his volunteer dedication to the community.
