Lakewood Election Central 2011: The Best Place For Local Election News

We've got all the info you need to be informed about the candidates and the issues right here at Election Central on Lakewood Patch.

 

Election season is upon us, and Lakewood Patch has all the information you need to stay informed about the candidates and the issues.

Up for election this season are five seats on Lakewood City Council and three seats of the Lakewood Board of Education. There are also eight ballot measures for proposed changes to the city's charter. 

The mayor's seat will not be challenged.

Election Day is Nov. 8.

Ward 1:

David Anderson, appointed incumbent

Patrick Metzger, challenger

Ward 2: Tom Bullock, incumbent, unopposed

Ward 3: Shawn Juris, appointed incumbent, unopposed

Ward 4: Mary Louise Madigan, incumbent, running unopposed

The candidate filing period closed on June 30.

SCHOOL BOARD CANDIDATES

Linda Beebe, incumbent

Tom Einhouse, challenger
