Lakewood Community Festival Postponed
Rain cancels the community event; make-up date set for next week.
Hundreds visited Madison Park for great local food, crafts, games, live music, animals, and discussions with candidates running in the upcoming election.

Looks as if alpacas, Vietnamese food and entertainment will have to wait a week.
With a constant drizzle, and rain in the forecast, the Lakewood Community Festival was canceled Saturday morning.
Sept. 15 is the make-up date at Madison Park, for the annual community heritage festival.
Now, organizers are hoping that it doesn’t rain again next week.
