Kucinich Helps Save Local Mom From Deportation
Congressman hosts press conference at his Lakewood office, says family would have been split up without intervention.
US Rep. Dennis Kucinich is helping one local family celebrate after he intervened to save a mother from deportation — and separation from her husband and two children.
Natalya Bobryvets, who has lived here for the past 12 years, recently learned that she was set for deportation on Jan. 31. The Department of Homeland Security allowed her husband and two children to stay.
That’s when she contacted Kucinich.
