Newcomer Zappitelli's on Madison takes home the Peoples' Choice for the best pie in Lakewood at the Kiwanis Club Pizza Bake-Off.

On Friday, a crowd of hundreds at the Lakewood Kiwanis Club Pizza Bake-Off agreed with Lakewood Patch readers that newcomer Zappitelli's on Madison has the best pizza in town.
Earlier this week, we asked who’s got the best pizza in town. Hundreds responded to our completely unscientific poll, overwhelmingly selecting Zappitelli's on Madison.
The Lakewood Kiwanis Club event at Lakewood High School made it official.
