Guy Robert Kitchen, formerly of Lakewood, died on Nov. 17.

He was 59.

Kitchen lived in Lakewood for 27 years and raised 5 daughters in their home on Elmwood Avenue, before moving to Norton.

He was born Aug. 7, 1953 in Lakewood, to Charles and Mary Kitchen. He worked for Balfour Resource Group since 2007 and was a member of Prince of Peace Church. Guy was also an active member of NEOTOA and USATF. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 41years, JoAnn; daughters, Rebecca (Don) Shaffer, Christine Maciaszek, Karra (Jim) Weil, Sara (Daniel) Pesut, and Kathryn (Jake) Beaverson; his parents; brother, Ken (Susan) Kitchen; sister, Anne (Bruce) Campbell; grandchildren, Courtney, Zachary, Allie, Ryan, Ashlee, Aaron, Renee, Ethan, Mia, Sydney, Luka, Fynn and Nathan. . 

His calling hours took place on Tuesday at Bacher Funeral Home.

A Funeral Mass is set for 1 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 21 at Prince of Peace Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., in Barberton.
