Filming Continues for Locally Produced Movie

This time, the cast and crew of "Cleveland, I Love You" set up shop at the Lakewood Public Library.

Filming continued Saturday night for the locally produced film “.”

This time, the film’s producers, actors and directors hit the books at the Lakewood Public Library to shoot for one of 11 vignettes, "Book of Love" written by Robby Ingersoll and directed by Robert Banks.

One of the film’s co-stars, Patrick Antone, is a Lakewood resident.

The night of filming didn’t quite go as planned, said the film’s co-producer Eric Swinderman.

When the cast and crew showed up, some miscommunication prevented production from starting on time.

“Cleveland, I Love You,” is an anthology of 10 love stories set in the Cleveland-area that will showcase 10 of the area’s best writers and directors, Swinderman said, adding that his film was influenced by “New York, I Love You” and “Paris, Je T'Aime.”

“It’s sort of a love letter to Cleveland, but looking at love through the eyes of a Clevelander,” said Swinderman, who has four of the 10 stories and is directing two of them. “This project is designed to showcase the talent in Cleveland."
