Counterfeit Money Used at Drugstore

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

Counterfeit money

An employee at the Discount Drug Mart at 11900 Detroit Avenue told police that a customer used a counterfeit $100 bill at around 3 p.m. Feb. 5.

Caught stealing a bottle of wine

A man was charged with petty theft after he was caught stealing a bottle of wine from the Speedway on Warren Road at around 5:30 p.m. Feb. 5.

Burglary

A home in the 1300 block of Bonnieview Avenue was reported broken-into at around 7:30 p.m. Feb. 5.

Man arrested on shoplifting warrant

Police caught up with a man wanted for shoplifting as he was leaving the Walgreens on Detroit Avenue at around 9:45 a.m. Feb. 6. He was also charged with trespassing and drug paraphernalia.

Burglary

A woman returned to her home in the 14900 block of Clifton Boulevard to find her TV stolen at around 3:45 p.m. Feb. 6.
