Dunkin' Donuts Outdoor Patio OK’d, Set to Open
Fast-food chain slated to open on W. 117th Street.
Dunkin' Donuts, expected to open its doors on W. 117th Street next week, will also have an outdoor patio.
Last week, the city's planning commission unanimously granted the fast-food chain a conditional use permit for an outdoor patio that will feature three tables and 12 seats.
Construction of the city's second Dunkin' Donuts location recently wrapped up.
The design plans got final approval from city’s architectural board of review meeting earlier this year.
The national doughnut chain plans to open up at 1528 W. 117thStreet, near the intersection of Franklin Boulevard, next week.
The property sits just north of the Shell gas station, where two homes were recently demolished.
The new quick-service restaurant would employee at least six people, according to the chain's original proposal.

I'd have preferred a Krispy Kreme.
