Dog Spotted on the Roof of a Home

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

Dog on roof

A resident in the 2100 block of Atkins Avenue told police that a dog was on the roof of a home across the street at around 1 p.m. Oct. 3. The dog’s owner said that the dog is able to go in and out freely, and was  “not in any danger.”

Dog without a leash

A man was cited for walking his dog at Kauffman Park without a leash at around 4:30 p.m. Oct. 1. 

Samurai sword fight ... with trees

Two teenaged boys were warned about using samurai swords to chop off tree branches in the 1200 block of Thoreau Avenue at around 12:30 p.m. Sept. 30. The boys had put away the swords by the time officers arrived.

Theft

A woman reported that her wallet had been stolen her purse at Chipotle at around 5:45 p.m. Oct. 1. 

Theft from auto

A laptop and a phone were reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 1200 block of Ramona Avenue at 8 a.m. Oct. 2.

Counterfeit money at a garage sale

A resident in the 15500 block of Clifton Boulevard reported that someone used counterfeit bills at a garage sale on Oct. 2. 

Dine and dash

An “intoxicated” diner at the Quaker Steak and Lube left without paying her bill at 6 p.m. Oct. 2. She was gone when officers arrived.
