Delivery Driver’s Vehicle Stolen During Stop

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

Grand theft

A man was delivering Chinese food to a home in the 15000 block of Madison Avenue at around 9 p.m. Jan. 28 when his vehicle was stolen while he dropped off the food. He had left the car running. Police are investigating.

A stinky crime

A man was charged with petty theft, public intoxication and trespassing at the Walgreens on Detroit Avenue at around 4:30 a.m. Jan. 26, after he was caught stealing deodorant.

Domestic violence

A man was charged with domestic violence in the 1200 block of Summit Avenue at around 5:15 p.m. Jan. 27 after police received a report of a fight at the address.

Disturbance

Police received a report that a man exposed himself to a woman as she was walking in the 15000 block of Madison Avenue at around 10:30 p.m. Jan. 28. She also told police that he tried to grab her. Police were unable to locate him.

Car shot by BB

A woman told police that someone shot a BB at her car while she was driving west in the 17000 block of Clifton Boulevard at around 10:45 a.m. Jan. 28.

House “egged”

A home in the 2200 block of Carabel Avenue was “egged” at around 2 p.m. Jan. 28.

They couldn't find the guy who exposed himself because he drove off in the Chinese food delivery guys car.
