Planned Parenthood actually does not perform mammograms as they are not licensed to do so. They DO, however provide breast examinations and referrals to have mammograms done.

Wait, our President CLEARLY stated Planned Parenthood provides mammograms... Soooo women don't "rely on it for mammograms"?

nope, no mammograms at Planned Parenthood. Obama knows that very well. Quite bluntly, he lied during the debate and yesterday on the View. His philosophy is that if you say something enough times, people will start to believe you.

Yes Planned Parenthood gives free mamograms to low income women. Where is there a law that says that women cannot have complete control over there lives when it comes to medical decisions. Is there a law that says only men can make that choice for women. So far we have religion telling our government what they can and cannot do when it comes to womens lives. How about when a women decideds to have an abortion that the man who got her pregnant also have an abortion and has his part cut off.

I have a family member who is the director of Plan Parenthood in Norther California and they are the only ones out there who will help women in need when it comes to there health.You do not have to be a Democrat to stand up for women and tell all the good so called christians and repulicans to stay the hell out of what is a womens right to choose when it comes to her health. Now, since you seem to want to steer this into a pro-choice debate, Dan, I'm telling you, no sane pro-choice person after watching a real abortion, on abort73.com for example, can keep their stance. It takes that kind of effort to find and see the truth to make a good decision on the subject. The dismemberment and slow death of an infant inside the womb, that happens 350,000+ times a year at planned parenthood. don't be too hard on Dan since he represents a significant number of the voting population. i mean, seriously, facts and truth don't matter to them and they will follow like lemmings right over the cliff(s) both fiscal and moral. and, he does use a common socialist tactic. when the facts don't match their self interest, they divert the discussion and try to shift attention to something totally irrelevant. if you take the bait then they win and avoid facing reality. besides i don't think that dan has the benefit of an education beyond high school if that. it may be impossible for anyone without a grasp of logic or philosophy to really hone in on a complex subject. reading comprehension may also be a challenge.

Mamagrams are not the best tool for women to see about breast cancer. Their is a better test out their and its called Thermography.Current methods used to detect suspicious signs of breast cancer depend primarily on the combination of both physical exams and mamagrams. Mamagrams only pick out cancer cells. Thermography go farther in that it picks out the cells and tissues and can predict at least three years in advance the start of cancer. Thermography uses Digital Infrared Imaging and not an X-Ray. Just some advise for Women looking for something better to check for breast cancer
