Case of Road Rage Nets Arrest

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Road rage in Lakewood

A man faces a host of charges following a case of road rage in a Lakewood parking lot. Police received a report of a man who punched out a woman’s window in the parking lot of at around 4:45 p.m. Feb. 24.

According to witnesses, the man punched through the window and began punching the woman inside the vehicle. He drove away, and the woman followed him.

He struck another vehicle in the 1300 block of Belle Avenue, then continued west on Clifton Boulevard.

Officers caught up with him in the 1300 block of Manor Park Avenue and charged him with assault, criminal damaging and hit-skip.

Man pulls knife on his wife

A woman told police that her husband pulled a knife on her and threatened her at their Cove Avenue home at around 10 p.m. Feb. 24. The man was charged with domestic violence.

An unwanted, early morning visitor

A man was charged with disorderly conduct after ringing the doorbell — and vomiting on the porch — of a home in the 1500 block of Cohassett Avenue at around 3:15 a.m. Feb. 25.

Man struck with brass knuckles

Police received a report that a man was hit in the face by another man wearing brass knuckles at the on Clifton Boulevard at around 2:15 a.m. Feb. 26. Officers were unable to locate both the suspect and the victim.

Hiding on the front porch

A resident in the 1300 block of West Clifton Boulevard called police about a man hiding on the front porch at around 2:30 a.m. Feb. 26. The man fled north on foot. Police searched the area but were unable to locate him.
