Theft
The bronze plaque on the large rock at the entrance to Lakewood Park was reported stolen on Sept. 16. When officers talked to neighbors, they said that the plaque had been missing for months.
Man covered in “blood”
Police received a report about a man “covered in blood” walking east on Madison Avenue at around 1:45 p.m. Sept. 15. Turns out, the blood wasn’t real and the man was participating in the 10th annual Zombie Walk.
Drug abuse
A man and woman who were arguing in the 2100 block of Chesterland Avenue were cited with drug abuse at around 6 a.m. Sept. 14.
Theft
A woman in an apartment in the 16800 block of Madison Avenue told police that her friend stole her money and jewelry at around 10:30 a.m. Sept. 14.
Skateboarding injury
A 12-year-old boy was injured after he fell off his skateboard in the 1600 block of Orchard Grove Avenue at around 2:45 p.m. Sept. 14. His injuries were not reported serious.
Theft
A resident in the 1100 block of French Avenue told police that an iPhone was stolen off the front porch sometime on Sept. 13.
Drunken driving
A woman, who seemed “confused” after her vehicle was stopped in the 1300 block of Elbur Avenue, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated at around 12:15 a.m. Sept. 15.
