Boys Throwing Rocks at Passing Cars

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

Rocks thrown at cars

Police received a call that kids were throwing rocks from the bridge near McKinley Avenue and North Marginal Road at around 2:30 p.m. Oct. 6. Officers were unable to locate the kids. A short time later, police received a report that kids were throwing rocks at cars in the 15700 block of Madison Avenue. The boys denied throwing rocks at cars.

Passed out in the bushes

A man was charged with public intoxication after he was found passed out in the bushes in front of a home in the 1200 block of Cranford Avenue at around 1 a.m. Oct. 7. 

Grand theft

A vehicle, parked in the 2100 block of Olive Avenue, was reported stolen Oct. 8.

Attempted burglary

A man was charged with attempted burglary after he was caught going through the clothing donation bin near the corner of Parkhaven Row and Detroit Avenue at around 10:30 a.m. Oct. 8.
