Barroco Grill Eyes Overhaul on Madison Avenue
Plans for a renovation are in the works at the popular eatery.
The city’s architectural board of review recently OK’d a facelift for Barroco Grill at 12906 Madison Avenue.
All that’s left is the approval of the popular South American restaurant’s sign.
The board deferred the item at Thursday night’s meeting.
Barroco owner Juan Vergara said there may be additional plans in the works to expand the kitchen to help service the restaurant’s new Cleveland location on West 6th Street.
Vergara said that the business has already spent tens of thousands of dollars to improve the space.
The city’s architectural board of review is expected to vote on the sign plans at next month’s meeting.

Right on! I love this restaurant. The only way to improve the city, is for the city to approve improvements.
