3-Year-Old Falls From Second-Story Window

The boy was taken to MetroHealth Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, officials said.

A 3-year-boy fell from a second-story window in a double-family home in the 1500 block of Parkwood Avenue on Monday evening.

The boy was taken to MetroHealth Hospital with unknown injuries at around 6 p.m. Monday, but one Lakewood firefighter said the boy “looked like he was in good condition.”

It’s not known how the child fell out of the window.

Lt. Leslie Wilkins of the said that officers are looking into the incident, but added that the preliminary investigation has found that it was “accidental.”

“There wasn’t anything negligent,” she said. “The child’s fine.”
