Darlington Nagbe, a 2008 St. Edward graduate, was part of the University of Akron mens soccer team which won the NCAA championship last weekend.
Akron defeated Louisville, 1-0, in Santa Barbara, CA, to win the university's first NCAA title in any sport. Nagbe was named to the all-tournament team.
Nagbe, a junior forward/midfielder, is the son of Joe and Somah Nagbe of Lakewood.
Nagbe was a College Soccer News preseason All-America this season.
